I’ve been a fan of Jo Kukathas and Instant Café Theatre since their early days in the 1990s, so when I was asked to offer my design services for their parody talk show, I said yes immediately!

 

May 9, 2018 will forever be etched in the memories of Malaysians. Many, like me, woke the next morning and grappled with the strange but wonderful thought: hey, we're not opposition anymore! Wait... what?!

Looking back now, we see the long and, in many places, broken road that lay ahead. But even then, the question on everyone's mind was, what next? One year on from the date, ICT returned to the stage with parodies and tales that made us laugh so hard that we cried – for the jokes, for ourselves and for the state of the nation.
