Conveying leadership energy through design
The ICLIF Leadership and Governance Centre
Design & copywriting / copy editing (selected projects)
My role as the design support person was essentially to assist in distilling and conveying the message of leadership energy in visual terms. In an organisation that 'walked the talk,' the essence of leadership energy was evident in all aspects, both inside and outside ICLIF, and this was also translated visually. The following represents a small selection of the ways in which the message was visualised or experienced.

Pohon Cerita – everyone has a story to tell
I was asked to create an interactive mural / message board for staff members to express themselves as well as share information.

I proposed to treat the wall with two coats of special paint before starting: first, a base coat of magnetic paint that magically transformed the entire wall into a magnetic surface; and then a top coat of paint that made the wall into a dry-erasable surface.

The graphics were added on top as adhesive vinyl stickers.

To add a sense of intrigue and anticipation, the graphics of the story tree, or pohon cerita was added in three stages, each a month apart. The idea was that the tree actually thrived on chatter, so as the staff ‘fed’ the tree regularly with messages, updates and stories, the tree would ‘grow’.
